The building that was once Berlin’s central post office is today classified as a historical monument, which was transformed into a museum for historical post and telecommunications equipment. The exhibition depicts one of the most important phenomena of our modern era, simultaneous communication, and documents its development. The history of the post office and telecommunications is portrayed in a variety of ways with subject matter being presented from diverse perspectives, for example in terms of culture, politics, technology, everyday life, and society.
