Wolfsburg/2011 – 2012
The Porsche Pavilion is a permanent part of the Autostadt Wolfsburg. It impresses with its organic shape, its distinctive silhouette and an exhibition that unites continuity, the art of engineering, and the fascination of sports cars in one big picture. Realized as a monocoque construction cladded with matted stainless steel sheets, the Pavilion embodies the trendsetting tradition of the company, which corresponds with the swarm of 25 cars inside. The design vocabulary of the recent Porsche models is accentuated by the black interior space. A composition of music and sound layers produces a subtle atmosphere accompanied by cinematic episodes depicting the brand’s core values.
