Museum Trumpf II Horizons
Ditzingen/2000 – 2001
Trumpf is a German machine tool manufacturer and a worldwide leader in laser technologies. The company museum is dedicated to the motto »horizons« and divided into three major thematic areas: current products and their daily application, technological expertise and company history. The central exhibition space is enclosed by a concave, double bent mold that is formed by a high-tech membrane, the horizon. There are 66 exhibits on display, which derive from nine areas of life proving the multitude of products fabricated by tools developed by Trumpf. A horizontally subdivided wall merges the company history in a chronological and thematic order, transferring it to a broader context.
